Root canal treatment in Wandsworth

I provide referral-based endodontic treatment at Bellevue Dental Clinic in Wandsworth — microscope-guided root canal treatment, re-treatment, dental trauma management, guided endodontics and CBCT reporting, a short step from Wandsworth Common.

Wandsworth is one of seven practices across London and Hertfordshire where I keep expert endodontic care close to home for patients in the south of the city. Every tooth is treated with a dental operating microscope and 3D CBCT imaging as standard, so difficult and previously treated cases can be managed with confidence — whether your own dentist has referred you or you’ve come directly.

What to expect at your appointment

Most root canal treatments here are completed in a single visit, though some more complex cases are staged over two. After a thorough assessment — including a 3D CBCT scan where it helps — I'll explain what's happening with the tooth and talk you through the plan before we begin. Treatment is carried out under local anaesthetic, and IV sedation can be arranged for anxious patients — allowing them to remain calm and comfortable throughout the procedure.

Microscope-guided, CBCT-planned care

Every case at Bellevue is treated using a dental operating microscope and, where needed, 3D CBCT imaging. The microscope lets me see inside the tooth in fine detail — locating hidden canals, removing infection precisely, and preserving as much healthy tooth as possible. CBCT gives a three-dimensional view that plain X-rays can't, which is especially valuable in re-treatment and calcified or hard-to-find canals.

Referrals and patients

I treat patients referred by dentists across south London, as well as those who find me directly. Referrals are quick over WhatsApp, usually with a same-day response and a full written report back to the referring dentist after treatment.

Common questions

Does root canal treatment hurt? Carried out under local anaesthetic, it feels much like having a filling for most people — and it relieves the pain you came in with.

Root canal or extraction? Saving your natural tooth is almost always preferable where possible, keeping your bite and appearance intact. I'll give you an honest view of the options for your particular tooth.
